Do you prescribe medication? Do you offer therapy?

As a psychiatrist, I am able to both prescribe medication and offer psychotherapy. Some of my patients see me for only medication management. Some see me only for therapy. Others see me for both medication management and psychotherapy. During our first meeting, we collaborate to determine which option works best for you. If you are already working with a therapist, I will work closely with them to make sure we provide the best care for you.

Do you offer virtual and in person appointments?

Yes, I am able to offer both in-person appointments as well as virtual appointments to individuals located in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey during the time of the appointment.

How often do we meet? How long are appointments?

We work together to figure out a plan tailored to your needs. Our first appointment together will be about 90 minutes. After that, appointments for only medication management are 30 minutes. Appointments for psychotherapy (with or without medications) are 45 minutes. If we are meeting for psychotherapy, we may meet once per week or multiple times per week.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, however I can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement.

Unfortunately, I am not able to work with those who have Medicare insurance at this time.

What are your rates?

Please contact me to discuss rates.

How does payment work?

Once we begin working together, you will have a patient portal through Simple Practice. There, you can enter your credit card information, which will then securely store your information. Your credit card will then be automatically billed after each session.

What if I cannot make it to an appointment?

If you are unable to make an appointment, please give more than 24 hours advance notice. Otherwise, the full appointment fee will be charged in most cases. Please reach out to me to discuss.

How do I get started?

If you are a new patient, please contact me via email at lanzillottamd@gmail.com. After I hear from you, we can set up a complimentary 15-minute phone call so that we can briefly get to know each other.

We can then set up an initial intake evaluation. This is a 90 minute appointment to get to know you better, including a comprehensive evaluation of your medical and psychiatric history and your goals for treatment.

Our first few sessions are an opportunity for us to decide whether we are a good fit for ongoing care. If we decide to proceed,  your care can include a combination of prescription medications, supplements, psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, and coaching as we work together to create a complete treatment plan to help you reach your goals.
